Our Key Stage 2 pupils safely arrived at Dartmoor Activity Centre, full of excitement and ready for their residential adventure. Spirits were high as the children looked forward to making unforgettable memories together.
The adventure began with enthusiasm and smiles all around. After some free time to settle in and get their bearings, the children set off on a hike up the iconic Hay Tor. Surrounded by Dartmoor’s stunning scenery, they embraced the challenge of climbing and exploring with great energy and curiosity.
Later in the day, the children geared up for an exhilarating rock climbing session. With helmets on and harnesses secured, they showed great courage and teamwork as they tackled the rock face. It was a perfect afternoon for climbing, and the activity offered wonderful opportunities to build confidence, resilience, and support for one another.
Following their exciting afternoon of climbing and adventure, the children gathered for a well-earned evening meal. There were plenty of smiles, stories, and laughter around the table as everyone reflected on the day's achievements. It was a lovely way to wind down and look ahead to more exciting activities to come.
