Lowen Class

A busy autumn half term in Lowen Class!

What a lovely start to the school year we have had! Lowen Class has been busy exploring, creating and learning together, with plenty of opportunities to follow our interests and try something new.

Our visits to Haye Farm and the Sustainability Centre have been particular highlights. From exploring the farm to hunting for minibeasts, creating wool and willow fish and toasting marshmallows over a fire, we have enjoyed some wonderful experiences beyond the classroom.

In Drawing Club, stories including Naughty Bus, Cave Baby and The Little Red Hen have sparked our imaginations and inspired drawing, storytelling and writing. We even enjoyed making our own bread rolls!

There has been lots of outdoor play and learning, with opportunities to build, investigate and work together. Our classroom has also been full of creativity, with painting, drawing, printing and plenty of other art activities keeping little hands busy!

We are proud of the children’s enthusiasm, growing confidence and kindness towards one another. Thank you to our families for your support this half term—we hope you have a lovely break!
