PSHE - understanding our interactions with each other

In class 1, we have been learning the difference between bullying, being unkind and being kind. We had a lovely afternoon sat under the tree in the chapel field, role playing different scenarios and converstaions that we might have in school.
We agreed as a class that bullying is when someone repeatedly tries to upset you, even when you have asked them not to. We gave this a red card!
Being unkind is when someone says or does something that isn't very nice. In this instance, we speak to them and ask them not to do this again. This got an orange card.
Being kind is what we know most about at Coads Green, and it is something we are all very good at! We had lots of suggestions on how we can show kindness, and these got a happy green card.
The children were brilliant during this session and were really able to show their understanding.
